AIDSPortal (www.aidsportal.org) is a networking and information sharing website that is run by the UK Consortium on AIDS & International Development. AIDSPortal takes your privacy seriously. Because we gather certain types of information about our users, we want to help you understand the terms and conditions surrounding the collection and use of that information. What information does AIDSPortal collect?
You can access much of the AIDSPortal website without giving us any information about yourself. If you choose to become a member we do need your personal information to provide services that you request. Once you become a member of AIDSPortal you are no longer anonymous to us.

What policy does AIDSPortal have on cookies?

How does AIDSPortal use this information?

AIDSPortal is a networking and information sharing site. As a member of AIDSPortal we will share personal data that you volunteer to us in your profile page or in the course of participation in discussions or reviews with other members of the site. What security measures does AIDSPortal take?

We will not hold data for longer than is reasonably necessary for the purposes of the proper conduct of its business or as required by law. Information which you submit via our Site is stored on a computer and sometimes on paper at our offices located in the European Economic Area. This is necessary in order to process the information and to send you any information you have requested.

We may change this policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in updates to this page. If we are going to use the information collected from users in a manner differently from that stated at the time of collection, we will notify users of the change by email first.
